Cederberg Winery @ KREAM


Quick note to let you all know about an event that's happening in Pretoria (and tends to happen every couple of months). Kream is a great restaurant run by Real Time Wine SuperFAN Sean Trollip. They're getting quite well known for these glorious food & wine pairings. Have a look at the menu.

I will be hosting a wine dinner with David Niewoudt of Cederberg at Kream on 29 October. For those of you who haven't been lucky enough to meet Dawid he is one of the great characters of the South African wine industry, and the evening promise to be very entertaining. Attached you will see the menu with the wines, and if we're lucky David will bring something special from the farm to try as well. The cost of the evening is the same as always R450 per person and I really hope to see some of you there. Please let me know if your interested so I can make a booking for you.

Cederberg Brut MCC
Canapés

Ghost Corner Sauvignon Blanc
Fennel dill and saffron home cured salmon gravudlux cucumber ribbons and wafer thin ciabatta chards

Rosé
Gaspachio consommé with red pepper, tomato and zucchini jellies and garlic croutons

Shiraz
Spicy and sour pork ramen
Marinated and roasted pork loin served in a aromatic ginger and coriander broth crisp vegetables and ramen noodles

Cabernet Sauvignon 
Tarragon crusted Lamb cutlet, aubergine caviar, roasted pepper tomato and cumin sauce

Merlot Shiraz
Medium fillet mignon on confit onion, wild mushroom and chive puff pastry tartlet, truffle foam

Bukettraube
Roquefort mousse, candied and crumbled walnuts, poached pears, pickled grapes, celery shavings
